Castable Cement (LC Castable) is a type of high-grade refractory castable with a low-cement system. By optimizing the formula to reduce CaO content, the material forms a denser and stronger skeletal structure after high-temperature firing. Its characteristics include: higher compressive strength, excellent abrasion resistance, low porosity, outstanding thermal shock resistance, and better slag resistance and erosion resistance.
This material can be applied using vibration molding or self-flowing methods, exhibiting good workability and plasticity. After heating and drying, it forms a high-strength refractory layer, suitable for high-temperature industrial environments with high requirements for refractory performance and service life. LC castables are widely used in industries such as steel, building materials, non-ferrous metals, chemicals, and power, and are the preferred refractory solution to replace traditional high-cement castables and refractory bricks.
